After completing his studies of law at the University of Basel, Christopher Langloh obtained his certificate of competence to practice in the legal profession. After this, he was employed as a scientific assistant at the University of Basel and during that time wrote his thesis on the subject of civil procedural law. He was then employed for several years at a large Swiss bank in the Legal service and Compliance area, before joining the Company Management department of ‘Internationle Treuhand AG (ITAG)’ in June 2002. Today, at Remaco Ltd, he is Partner and heads the department Company Management.

While studying economics and law at the University of Basel, Lukas Neubauer was also a partner and manager of a SME in the IT sector. After graduation, he obtained a certificate of competence to practice in the legal profession in Basel, and then worked as a lawyer in a regional law office for several years. He then spent a relatively long period at a large Swiss bank, in the Legal service and Compliance area, before joining International Trust in August 2005. Today Mr Neubauer heads the Legal Services unit of Remaco Ltd and is also responsible for the internal Legal, Risk & Compliance Department.
Matthias Braxatoris is a finance all-rounder with a broad knowledge and experience in the banking industry (private banking, family office). He completed his studies of business administration with main focus on finance and marketing at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Further, as a Swiss CPA he is a licensed audit expert. After 8 years with Deloitte in Switzerland and UK he moved to a family office and later to Nordea Bank in Zürich. In July 2019 he joined Remaco as Head Finance & Controlling/Corporate Finance. He speaks German, English and Hungarian.

After studying as an economist at HWV and working at AGEBA Treuhand AG and Peter Haller Treuhand AG, Giuliano Filippone joined the tax department of Experta AG. There he completed the training as a control expert and subsequently earned his diploma in the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. After moving to ITERA Treuhand & Steuer AG, head of the branch office in Basel and Zurich, Leben & Vorsorge, where he completed his apprenticeship as a VBV-certified insurance consultant, he changed his position as head of the tax department to Bank CIC (Schweiz) Basel. He subsequently gained further professional experience at Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft AG, Basel, as well as at La Roche & Co AG, Basel, as head of the tax department. Mr. Filippone is Head of Tax and Customer Accounting at Remaco.
Swiss CPA, Certified Professional in Finance and Accounting Audit Services
After completing her commercial education, Katharina Geuss-Poltera started to work in the fiduciary sector. In 1995 she joined Testor Teuhand Ltd as commercial specialist in accounting, tax and audit services. During this time she passed the exam for the Certified Professional in Finance and Accounting. In 1998 Katharina Geuss-Poltera joined BDO Visura Ltd as a manager in the audit department during this time she passed the Swiss CPA exam. Afterwards she worked 10 years for Deloitte Ltd as a manager in the audit department. As a manager she audited and adviced clients different sizes in the area of trade and manufacturing regarding valuation, proper accounting treatment (according to IFRS, Swiss GAAP ARR and CO) as well as internal control systems. In addition she was responsible for audits of foundations and pension funds.Mrs Katharina Geuss-Poltera joined Remaco audit services Ltd in January 2013. She provides audit services; furthermore she is an authorized audit expert.
After completing her commercial education in an advocacy and notary’s office and a language study in London, Françoise Goumaz-Steiner started her career in the Swiss watch industry in Biel and Grenchen where she worked in the legal department (trademark protection) and as the director’s assistant. In 1982 she joined the company management department of Experta Treuhand AG, Basel, where she predominantly lead the secretariat for the French speaking clients. In 1995 she joined other departments where she gained further experience with quotations, order processing, time recording, invoicing and accounting. Françoise Goumaz-Steiner joined the company management department of Remaco Ltd (formerly International Trust Ltd) in December 2008. Her work includes the managing of the secretariat, administration work and foundation accounting. Since 2011 she also fills VAT returns for various clients.
After completing the commercial school and language studies in London, Selim Karatekin started his apprenticeship as commercial clerk, focusing on trust services in Basel). After his certification he acquired the federal Vocational Baccalaureate and professional experience as commercial specialist bookkeeping and payroll accounting (BackOffice AG). While studying Business Studies at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (Major Auditing, Minor Tax & Legal), Mr. Karatekin looked after international accounting mandates on a private basis. After his successful graduation in September 2012, Mr. Karatekin started at Remaco Ltd as commercial specialist in accounting, audit services and bookkeeping. His language knowledge (German, Turkish, English, French) ist of great value in his work for our international clients. Today, as an authorized signatory, Mr. Karatekin is also an autonomous client consultant.
Assistant Legal Services and Personal Administration
After completing her commercial education in an advocacy and notary’s office in Basel, Nadja Kull worked for five years as a lawyer’s assistant in Zurich. Subsequently she worked for seven years in an advocacy and notary’s office in Basel. Nadja Kull joined Remaco Ltd in August 2012 as an assistant to the Head of Legal Services. She is responsible for operational and human resources related topics. Mrs. Kull has completed the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Paralegal at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).
Nach abgeschlossener Berufslehre als Bahnbetriebsdisponentin arbeitete Frau Christine Leuthold während weiteren 17 Jahren in verschiedenen Bereichen der SBB AG.
Im Jahr 2013 wollte sie sich beruflich verändern und bekam bei der SBB AG den ersten Einblick in die Immobilienwelt und entschied sich für einen Wechsel in diese Branche. Sie absolvierte die Weiterbildung als Sachbearbeiterin Immobilienbewirtschaftung und arbeitete bis im Jahr 2018 in zwei verschiedenen Verwaltungsfirmen, wo Sie erste Erfahrungen sammeln konnte.
Seit August 2018 arbeitet sie neu in der Immobilienabteilung bei der Remaco Advisory Services AG.
Nach 5 Jahren Berufserfahrung freut sie sich darauf ihr Wissen zu vertiefen und beginnt dieses Jahr noch mit der Ausbildung zum Immobilien-Bewirtschafter mit eidg. Fachausweis.
Kari Reichmuth is in charge of the reception. Previously she worked at UBS AG in Basel. Kari Marie Reichmuth holds a degree (lic. phil. I) from the University of Basel and speaks English, German and Scandinavian.
Stefan Schneider is account manager in the tax services & client accounting sector of Remaco. He is a certified tax accountant and has more than 30 years of experience in the field of tax, book keeping and accounting for corporates and trusts.
Yvonne Sutter is in charge of the reception at Remaco. Prior to Remaco Yvonne Sutter worked at Ciba Geigy (today Novartis) for 11 years and LGT Bank in Basel . She speaks German, English and French.
After his high-school diploma Mr. Brüggemann completed his one-year community service in the United States where he volunteered for two different Non-Prof Organizations in Philadelphia and Los Angeles, e.g. in Legal& Compliance. Afterwards he studied Economics at the University of Zurich and Freiburg im Breisgau (DE). He holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Economics with a strong emphasis on Mathematical Finance from the University of Freiburg. In August 2017 he joined the Fund Management Team of Remaco Wealth Management.
Oliver Eckerlin gained his banking and management qualification in Frankfurt, Germany with a specialization in cooperative banking (MGB). He has more than 11 years of experience in the German banking sector, most recently as a branch manager at Skandinaviska Enskilda Bank (SEB) in Nordic retail and private banking. In 2004 he joined the Portfolio Management team at the International Trust Group. In 2005 he qualified as a certified Swiss Fund Officer (IAF). Mr Eckerlin also holds a number of other qualifications in the fields of portfolio optimization and portfolio construction methods, including courses in portfolio management from the University of St. Gallen and bond portfolio management from the University of Basel. Today, Mr Eckerlin is member of the management board and head of the portfolio management at Remaco Wealth Management AG.
Christoph Frick is Head of Wealth Solutions at Remaco Wealth Management and has 20 years of experience in Asset- and Wealth Management, Family Office Consulting, traditional banking and bank management. He graduated with a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Zurich and worked for various banks in Zurich, Monaco and Liechtenstein predominantly for Global Key Clients. Moreover, he established international market areas and was in charge of its operations. Temporarily he moved to the food industry and served as the CEO of a Start-up.
After completing basic commercial training in a bank in Basel, Ms. Claudia Monteleone worked for 8 years as an assistant in the Private Banking in Basel. Subsequently, she worked for another 4 years with an Asset Manager in Basel. After that, she moved to the industry where she worked as a clerk for 5 years. Since July 2019 she has been working for the Remaco Group as Assistant to the CEO and the Executive Board. She speaks German, Italian, French, English and Spanish.
Marc Nitsche is responsible for the middle and the back office at Remaco. Prior to that he worked for 8 years at UBS AG in Zurich in the Wealth Management and Global Asset Management division as a product specialist in the area of Global Custody, Corporate Actions and product management and development. Marc Nitsche started his professional career at Ciba Geigy (today Novartis).

Mr. Silins is an experienced bank CFO and investment manager and at Remaco apart from his CFO duties he is also heavily involved in the Private Debt Team. Early in his career Toms Silins gained experience at the Central Bank of Latvia, where he worked as an Analyst, Portfolio Manager and Head of Trading and also as Deputy Head of Market Operations. He gained further experience at Deutsche Bank, and later became Baltic Banking CFO at Swedbank AB Group, where he also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of various Group pension funds. Finally, he worked for the largest Russian banking group – Sberbank as CFO for its Swiss subsidiary in Zurich. Mr. Silins holds a master`s degree in Economics and Business from the University of Latvia and MBA (with distinction) from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Mr. Silins is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1999.
